A costume interpretation of Bunny Winter's design of the character Ariel from Shakespeare's "The Tempest".

 

I used a layering teqhnique for the corset, where I tacked different fabrics together and sewed over them and then ripped them between the stitching lines. 
I dyed and painted the leotard, and the breeches are hand-dyed by painting them with various colours of dye-ink.
